In: Why book Julann?
We know there are many other photographers out there offering the same thing, and indeed at some point you may be tempted to take up a friend's offer to do it for next to nothing. So why book Julann? The candid answer is:-
- As female photographers we understand the importance of the details - the shoes, the bling, the labels.
- We will not make you stand around for hours of photographs, unless that's what you want!
- We will be unobtrusive and polite to your guests
- There are always 2 photographers leaving a little leeway to help with last minute tasks, attaching button holes, fitting the dress etc.
- The photos are on the website within 2 weeks to allow you to make selections.
- All prices are flexible and tailored to what you want.
- we provide a mix of traditional and reportage photos so that you have an record of the day as it unfolds as well as the set group shots. We find that this combination works well as it meets the needs of the wedding couple as well as parents and family!
- we always meet with the couple at the venue before the wedding to ensure we capture the day as you wish.
- we are qualified photographers, Anne has a Masters in Fine Arts, and Julia an HND in photography and are members of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.
If you would like any further information, please call us on 01732 811311 or email: julannphotography@btinternet.com. We have a selection of sample albums so that you can view our work, and would be happy to meet with you to discuss further.

In: Wedding Venues
Kent is our home town, so we must admit to being slightly biased, but there are some truly beautiful wedding venues! Actually hard to pick a top 10, but we have set out below a few of our favourites which we thought might be of interest to anyone planning their wedding.
Allington Castle

Absolutely beautiful venue, with a long sweeping drive bordered by lakes. The landscaped gardens were immaculate, and although the castle is privately owned, they allow a few weddings each year.

Cooling Castle Barn - www.coolingcastlebarn.com
Commissioner House, Chatham - www.commissionershouse.com

Newick Park, Newick, East Sussex - www.newickpark.co.uk
Porte Lympne - www.totallywild.net/portlympne

Eastwell Manor, Ashford - www.eastwellmanor.co.uk
Hempstead House Hotel, Sittingbourne - www.hempsteadhouse.co.uk
High Rocks, Tunbridge Wells - www.highrocks.co.uk
Little Hermitage, Nr Gravesend - www.little-hermitage.co.uk
This was a new venue for us; a beautiful Georgian manor house which is ideal for the the smaller wedding (up to 65 guests for sit down dinner).
We were fortunate to photograph a wedding in the Turks and Caicos Islands last year which was gorgeous with the backdrop of turquoise seas and clear blue skies.
